This cat is a fabulous piece, carved from rare myrtlewood. Zumwalt’s Myrtlewood is crafted in Brandon, Oregon. This beautiful piece is vintage from the 1960’s. It stands 9.5 inches tall.
Myrtlewood is local to Oregon and in the past, myrtlewood carvings were often sold along the highway in sounvenir shops. Zumwalt's is still in business and sources their wood from a local source is Coos Bay. Zumwalt's Myrtlewood carvings are wonderful quality pieces.
