Queens South Africa medal which is a British Campaign medal for service during the 1899-1902 second Boer War. The bars read South Africa 1902. TRANSVAAL. Orange Fire State. Cape Colony. It was awarded to 6446 PTE M.H. Storr Yorkshire REGT who served in WW1. His son, later in life became Chairman of the Governors for Redcar & Cleveland. He was quite an important figure head.
