I purchased this in Vienna in 1980.
I was told that when going around cafes, newspapers were attached to various wooden holders everywhere, so your hands wouldn't get ink on them.
I happened to find them for sale at the city market, so I bought two and brought them back.
The total length is 74 cm including the 13 cm handle, the width is 38 cm, the rattan thickness is 1 cm, and the handle diameter is 2 cm.
I was planning to enjoy reading newspapers with the holder attached to wire, but the Thonet-like feel was simple and beautiful, so I kept it as a room decoration, and it's almost in the same condition as when I brought it back.
I haven't used it, but it has dried and the color has faded slightly, and it has a handmade feel. Please understand that the shipping cost for delivery has also increased. If you like it, I would appreciate it.
