Designed by costume designer Jany Temime, who herself attended French boarding school as a child, the Beauxbatons costume features French blue silk capelets, heels, and perky trilby-esque hats, none of which are ideal for the cold Scottish weather at Hogwarts. But they certainly stand out against the sea of Hogwarts blacks, grays, and browns.
