Antique doll shoes Sweet Sue 18” 5 pr.

5 pairs of shoes that fit Sweet Sue, by American Character 18” dolls- these are from 1952, my mother’s birthday gift at age 7. White and soft pink ‘leather’ flats with a strap that snaps in the front of the ankle. I have shown pics that all snaps are there and in working order, but due to age and use, the leather is starting to wear and tear. A larger pair of pink flats that have ribbon ties in the front came with various machine knitted socks. Shown in pics with white sock- included. Black shoes with front tongue flap- like a hiking or walking shoe. These tie in the front, as shown. Finally a pear of clear plastic ‘sandals’. These are 70+ years old!
